UNESCO HERITAGE PARTNER
Stevns Klint is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because it is the place in the world where you best experience the traces of the asteroid that hit Earth 66 million years ago. The asteroid put an end to more than half of all life on the planet – including the dinosaurs.
In addition to being a world heritage site, Stevns Klint has a unique nature, where the beautiful and harsh can be experienced up close.
SOLVANG has been a UNESCO World Heritage partner since 2018. We want to help preserve a completely unique history in our local beautiful nature, of which we are a part.
