The purpose of SOLVANG in maintaining identification in the manufacturing of components is to ensure that all products can be identified and that the status of the products (eg raw materials, semi-finished products, finished goods, etc.) can be determined.
By maintaining traceability of selected components, we meet customer / regulatory requirements (eg materials and objects intended for contact with product/food) and to be able to ensure withdrawal of selected products from the market, if required.
It also ensures that we can maintain traceability of selected items, minimize the cost of suspected defects and / or the actual withdrawal of defective items.
